Nick plays rhythm guitar and, when the spirit moves, lead guitar and sings. He hails from a small town in California's Sacramento Valley. After failing miserably at childhood piano lessons and inspired by attending (and barely surviving) the Saturday night "Okie Stomp" dance one summer at the County Fair, Nick took up guitar and has been at it ever since. Prior to entering the Doghouse, Nick played in the Rythmcasters, which enabled him to experience many a musically and socially fulfilling night at the Moss Landing Inn (Long live Alex!) Nick's musical tastes and influences are wide-ranging. At any given moment, you might find him listening to anything from Parker to Patton, Coltrane to Carter, Haggard to Hendrix, or Rush (as in Nick) to Robertson - as well as a few points in between!
